Much belated update on 2014 (& summation of 2013) …
Way, way too long since I've done any kind of update to the site. Which, by the way, is a good sign it means things have been very, very busy over the past year. One significant development is that I am now formally incorporated; below is the new name & the new mark that I've been working under. Mostly Juniper&Scribe, Ltd. has been kind of a behind the scenes entity, but this year (time permitting) I would like to do a more robust roll-out. Stay tuned … in the meantime, there is just an online place holder staking out future territory …
As mentioned above, 2013 was extremely busy – the year kicked-off with a large production job for the new NASA Glenn Visitors Center at the Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Likewise the beginning of last year saw design work commence for an exhibit on guitar legend & innovator Les Paul at the Waukesha County Museum in Wisconsin.
One of the largest & most rewarding projects of 2013 was the exhibition graphics & signage that was completed for the Chicago Bears corporate, training, and media facilities: Halas Hall. In fact, they were so pleased with the results that a new phase of work has already begun for this year.
Continuing in the sport vein, design work that began last year for the new Jack Nicklaus gallery at the USGA Museum continues progressing on into the spring.
A couple new projects for 2014 … a semi-traveling exhibit for the AFS about its formation during World War I as an organization for American volunteer ambulance drivers. Likwise a graphics program for the brand new Welcome Center for the Baha'i temple in the Chicago area is in the works.
And finally couple smaller projects … identity work for the talented trumpeter Jason Bejamin's latest project and I completed some new menu designs for the Tribeca steakhouse Dylan Prime.
Stay tuned – some of the above items will hopefully be making formal appearances with work samples & descriptions on this site or, even better, at the all new juniperandscribe.com … time permitting of course …
